Alyssa Hague (she/they) is an illustrator and fibre artist living and working on the ancestral territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, otherwise known as ‘Vancouver’. Focussed on ideas of queer identity and ecology, their work deploys natural multiplicity as a visual tool to convey both the repetition and randomness of emotional experience, and the patterns of self representation that can be equal parts invigorating and stifling. When they are not creating, they are probably walking their dog.
