Orly Ashkenazy is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, BC. This body of work, which was inspired by bees, questions community and identity. Orly’s interest is to work with intaglio on copper, making deeper etchings and engravings. She creates conversations with the copper plates with or without the prints, overlaying different kinds of patterns from different kind of systems.
