GETTING STARTED

A sense of nostalgia comes from a mundane detail that can be encountered daily. It sparkles in the food we eat, the environment we live in, and the conversations we have. All memories are cherished and influenced by who we are. I wonder how we can reminisce and reflect these memories into tangible things. And how can we share the experience of memories in the form of creation?

SURVEY: NOSTALGIA CHECK-IN

A survey of 23 Emily Carr students about nostalgia and how they recall the memories that were taken in Fall 2022.

WHAT’S NEXT?

Explore the line between abstraction and reality through the use of shapes in storytelling.

Stamp Memories, created for Emily Carr undergraduate students, this kit encourages
students to explore the theme of graduation and how their memories can be visualized as something tangible.
